It’s not capitalism that strips us of our power to change things. It’s all of us, including you and me. We like to postpone dealing things that are not an immediate risk, as humans thrive on risk. Our civilisation is based on risk. And unfortunately our biological destiny is to destroy this planet, as any species would if it was in our position: a cat, a monkey. They would have done the same, use all the resources. The only hope we have is to realise that this destruction is actually our default destiny. Only then will we sense that this time, risk is not in our favour.
